Fiber coming from this program is certified based on a comprehensive system of principles, objectives, and performance measures developed by professional foresters, conservationists and scientists that combines the perpetual growing and harvesting of trees with the long-term protection of wildlife, plants, soil and water quality. Under the Sustainable Forestry Initiative program, participating companies plant or grow more trees than are harvested each year. Over one million acres are reforested each year under the SFI program.

SFI program certified products by CTP Solutions are converted utilizing paper which is manufactured by SFI program certified mills which adhere to the sustainable forestry practices of the SFI program. Customers buying SFI program certified products are assured that the paper used in the manufacture of these products is made using sustainable fiber as certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative program.

The SFI mark can be printed as 4-color CMYK, 2-color PMS 348 and Black, or Black & White. By special permission of the SFI, we are also allowed to print the SFI mark in any PMS color in order to match the spot colors in a print job. It can be printed on each envelope as part of a custom envelope print job. If a product is purchased for resale, the box and carton labels can carry the SFI mark. If a mark is desired, the customer must notify us at time of quotation.

FSC is the global benchmark for respon¬sible forest management. The intent of the FSC system is to shift the market to eliminate habitat destruction, water pollution, displacement of indigenous peoples and violence against people and wildlife that may sometimes accompany logging.
