Documents need not be printed anymore. Electronic forms can reduce costs while speeding delivery of critical documents such as invoices and purchase orders. What once required expensive folding and stuffing equipment or even manual handling and took several days through the mail to arrive at its destination can now be delivered via email or fax in a fraction of the time and with no manual intervention at all.
CTP Solutions provides the flexibility to email, fax, and archive documents. Whether the form is emailed, faxed or printed can be based on spool file data. For instance, the vendor copy of a purchase order might automatically email to the vendor if there is an email address for the vendor in the spool file but print if there isn't. Internal copies can be printed or archived.
Forms or form pages can also be converted to PDF or TIFF format and placed in a shared folder or in a directory in the Integrated File System. A report could be placed in a manager's folder on the System i as a PDF file where the manager could at her convenience view it with Adobe Reader and/or print it.
CTP Solution's built-in archive database system provides archiving for any form or form page based on up to 10 user-definable index parameters. Retrieved documents can be easily printed, displayed in Adobe Reader, faxed or emailed. The archive database system combined with distributed printing and other CTP Solution features forms the basis of efficient, cost-effective document management based on the legendary reliability of the System i (iSeries, AS/400).

| PC Designer |
|
PC Designer provides complete form design and data mapping from Windows PCs. Import a spool file page and visually design your form around it. Remap spool file data with drag & drop simplicity. Convert graphic files jpeg or bmp) using the built-in conversion tool or import existing CTP graphics. Your form is saved on the System i in the same place as forms created using the CTP editor and can be modified by the CTP editor. PC Designer is an optional program and requires v200801.

| CV |
CTP Solution's CV provides conversion of electronic forms to PDF or TIFF format and display of forms and data on a PC screen to assist form development. CV is server-based software to take the overhead from the PDF or TIFF conversion off the AS/400. The result is rapid conversion even of large files.
CV also displays the PCL output of CTP Solutions on a PC screen, either from the form definition screens or after merging the form with data. This gives the form developer a quick view of their form or form and data without having to print it out while preserving the precision and ease of use inherent in the CTP Solutions form editor.

| PDF/TIF Conversion Module |
With the PDF/TIF Conversion Module, CTP Solutions output can be automatically converted to a PDF or TIF file and placed in a shared folder. The file can then be accessed by a PC through Client Access for on-screen viewing, emailing as an attachment, or graphic processing on the PC.
The PDF/TIF Conversion Module also permits on-screen viewing from the form flash editor during form development.
